Hello! I'm Michele Welton and I have more than 35 years experience as a dog breed counselors, teachers obedience, dog psychologist, veterinary technicians and author of 17 books (on dogs, cats and birds companies).
I trained dogs and shown in competitive obedience, agility, herding, tracking and protection dog. I was working with therapy dogs, police dogs, show dogs and dogs.

Here is our miniature poodle, Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Buffy is intelligent, docile and very gentle. She loves everyone (except vampires) and served as the unofficial mascot of the third class quality of my husband for many years.
Next to her is our Chihuahua mouse. Mouse came to us from a rescue group, as they are diagnosed with a liver tumor and diseases of the skin and scheduled for euthanasia. Fortunately, we had these health problems under control. Unfortunately she was also born with a neurological condition called syringomyelia. This is very serious and reminds us one day take life at a time.
